“Innovation and creativity means figuring out how to use PCI’s flexible capital to strengthen systems, organizations and projects that improve pathways for vulnerable families to thrive.”

Michelle joined PCI in April 2022. She is accountable for delivering deep social impact and consistent financial returns with the capital invested by member insurance companies. Before joining PCI, Michelle led BlueHub Loan Fund, a $200 million impact fund, for the past decade.

Over her thirty year career in community development finance, she has been committed to the work of improving the health of low-income communities, reducing the racial wealth gap, and providing equitable access to opportunity.

Michelle received her BA from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where she was a Morehead Scholar, and her MBA from Yale University.

When she is not working, Michelle loves to travel and look at art with her partner Mark, swim and hike in the NH lakes region with extended family, and steal time with her adult children wherever they are.
